Inheritance

This is not the best book I have read. In some ways the story was uncomfortable. The characters had a unflattering light to them, the only redeeming character was the old man, whose life had been tormented by someone he thought was a friend. The main character's discovery of a mystery and also of himself made the book slightly better, but in all it was disappointing as I found it hard to care about any of the characters.
